About the Role: MSS Security is currently seeking a Full Time Security Officer to join our team at a corporate site located in Geelong. This dynamic role offers a blend of control room operations, roving duties, and concierge/front-of-house responsibilities. This position attracts a Level 4 pay rate of $28.86 per hour, plus super and shift penalties where applicable. Duties include but are not limited to: Manage access control at the main entrance, ensuring only authorised staff, contractors, and visitors enter the site in line with security procedures Deliver front desk and concierge services including greeting visitors, verifying appointments, registering guests, issuing visitor passes, and directing them appropriately Operate within the Control Room, monitoring CCTV footage, responding to alarms, and managing the site’s access control system via Gallagher software Provide consistent, high-quality customer service at all times. Requirements: Must be an Australian Citizen Hold an NV1 Clearance or willing to obtain Valid Victorian Security Licence with Control Room Endorsement Current First Aid and CPR certification Willingness to undergo a site-specific clearance pack and complete a police check Ability to work a 24/7 rotational roster Minimum 2 years’ experience within the security industry (preferred) Experience using Gallagher systems (desirable) Ability to work across control room, concierge, and roving duties Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing High level of attention to detail and accuracy Master Licence Number: 409-987-30S How to apply MSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer, valuing the unique backgrounds, experiences, and contributions of each person We encourage and celebrate diversity.
