Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control functions, assist team members and visitors with professionalism, and deliver strong communication and customer service while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.07 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 03:00 PMTue07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWed07:00 AM - 03:00 PMThur07:00 AM - 03:00 PMFri07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors in accordance with site procedures, helping to support orderly operations at the location. Report maintenance issues, hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel while following Allied Universal and site-specific reporting practices. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
