JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, staff, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to loss prevention, effective surveillance techniques, and the ability to respond swiftly to incidents. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of premises through monitoring and reporting.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred but not essential.
• Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and surveillance systems is advantageous.
• Certification in first aid is desirable.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security.
• Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to identify any suspicious activities.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid when necessary.
• Enforce company policies and procedures regarding security protocols.
• Document daily activities and any incidents that occur during shifts.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement when required.
• Assist in loss prevention strategies to minimise theft or damage.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times while on duty.
