JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, staff, and visitors. SKILLS

  • Proficient in operating CCTV systems and understanding surveillance techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of loss prevention strategies and practices.
  • Certification in first aid is highly desirable.
  • Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
  • Operate and maintain CCTV systems to ensure effective surveillance of the premises.
  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks.
  • Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, taking appropriate action as required.
  • Provide first aid assistance when necessary and ensure that emergency procedures are followed.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations in a clear and concise manner.
  • Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or damage and reporting findings accordingly.
