You will monitor activity, manage calls and radio traffic, and help to deter issues by guiding the right response at the right time. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and callers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Operate dispatch and communications systems to receive requests for service, prioritize calls, and coordinate responses with on-site personnel and/or public partners per post orders. Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control notifications; document activity and report irregular conditions through required reporting channels. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing clear directions and timely notifications to leadership and/or emergency responders as needed. Maintain accurate logs and incident reports, including call details, radio traffic, and actions taken, in accordance with site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. Be 21+ years of age. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
