Job Description As a Security Officer Government Dispatch Full-Time in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in supporting government operations by monitoring and coordinating security-related activities at the assigned location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $29.48 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat06:00 AM - 06:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and resources as needed throughout the location. Receive, document, and relay information regarding incidents, emergencies, or routine calls for service in a calm and problem-solving manner. Coordinate with on-site personnel to help to deter unauthorized activities and respond to critical situations. Maintain accurate logs and records of all incoming and outgoing communications and incidents. Provide customer service by following site-specific policies and procedures, and assist visitors or employees with inquiries related to security-related matters. Support emergency response activities by communicating with appropriate parties and following established protocols. Assist with regular and random checks of the business and perimeter by coordinating patrols and monitoring reports from field personnel. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. CPR certification is preferred. A valid guard card or license is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
