What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or suspicious behavior. Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel. Assist visitors and employees by providing information and directions as needed. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and promote a secure environment within the government facility. Complete detailed reports documenting incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
