        JOB SUMMARY: Security Officer responsible for the safety and security of the facility by being visible, mobile and vigilant. Projecting confidence, strength and professionalism. Admit mistakes, learn from mistakes, and move forward.  * Demonstrate an ability to accept constructive criticism and guidance from supervisors. * Be professional by showing politeness and courtesy to co-workers and guests under all circumstances. * When you don’t know information, how something works, unsure of policy or procedures, or are unclear; seek answers from your supervisor.   Major Responsibilities/Activities:  * Maintains a direct line of communication with their immediate supervisor and surveillance for any related incidents regarding the establishment.  * Primarily responsible for the protection of a particular area, including observation and reporting of unusual, dangerous or suspicious activities. * Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and enjoyable environment. * Conducts such duties as report writing of internal, criminal or injury related matters, escorts of money and other important documentation, as required. * Patrols assigned work areas and assists guests and other departments, as needed and offer assistance aimed at building good will.  * Ensures all policies and procedures are followed and performed, as required. * Other duties as assigned or required   Minimum Requirements:  * Preference is given to qualified Santa Ana Tribal Members. * Must be 21 years of age. * High school diploma or GED. * Ability to communicate and correspond clearly and effectively. * Must have valid driver’s license. * Must be available for all shifts. * Must Pass pre-employment drug test. * Experience in the Security field is a plus. * A smartphone capable of running company applications and communication systems is required. If a smartphone is not provided by the company, a candidate or employee may be provided a smartphone of the company’s choice, through a payroll deduction program. * All employees are required to proficiently use a smartphone for company applications, email, and text. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Pueblo of Santa Ana Gaming and Regulatory Commission key gaming license.   Essential Mental Functions: The essential mental functions described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
