Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience for guests and staff. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support authorized access, observe customer and visitor activity, and address concerns with professionalism. Support retail operations by assisting with security-related incidents such as trespassing, loitering, property-related concerns, and/or after-hours checks in accordance with post instructions. Minimum Requirements: Security-related experience of 6+ months is required. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card/license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
