Description

Provide for the Care, Welfare, Safety, and Security of all team members, patients, families, and visitors of Hannibal Regional Healthcare System. May perform various environmental service duties and minor maintenance.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior Military, Law Enforcement, Public Service, or Security training preferred
  • Ability to handle security situations involving patients, visitors, team members, and family members
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to greet and serve visitors in a manner conducive to positive customer relations
  • Must have valid Class E drivers license in good standing
  • Knowledge of Proper English, Spelling and Grammar
  • Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with a diverse group
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to use proper de-escalation techniques when dealing with potentially violent patients, family members, the public and/or team members
  • Ability to organize work and handle multiple projects/priorities
  • Ability to display an image of professionalism, self confidence, and self control
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment in emergency situations
  • Current BLS certification and 1st Aid
