What You'll Do: Assist with access control by verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the healthcare location. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activities. Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related matters. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols. Provide customer service to all visitors, staff, and patients by offering assistance and information as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to observe and report any security-related concerns. Collaborate with healthcare staff and emergency responders during incidents and/or emergencies. Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
