What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, coordination with clinical staff, and timely notification of site leadership and/or local responders. Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, identify unusual conditions, and report concerns. Support access control by monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, enforcing visiting and after-hours guidelines, and directing individuals to appropriate destinations. Complete detailed reports, log entries, and incident documentation, including observations related to property, equipment, and policy compliance, while maintaining respect for privacy and confidentiality expectations in a healthcare setting. Minimum Requirements: This post is at a hospital with vaccines. This post is at a hospital with a morgue. Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience OR 2+ years of security supervisor or manager experience OR 3+ years of security experience. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
