As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will actively monitor and patrol the premises to help deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities. Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and provide a visible security-related presence. Document activities, observations, and any incidents according to Allied Universal procedures and client guidelines. Assist staff, visitors, and/or patients with directions and general information in a courteous manner. Communicate and collaborate with healthcare personnel and emergency responders as needed to support site operations. Remain alert to any potential hazards or unusual conditions during patrols and report them promptly. Minimum Requirements: A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
