This role supports the mission to Share Christ – Love People by providing safety and security for staff, business visitors, and the general public while on the property of Joyce Meyer Ministries. Responsibilities: * Observe property activities via the camera system and document properly in daily log * Greet employees and visitors as they arrive on Joyce Meyer Ministries’ property * Ensure safety of the staff and visitors of Joyce Meyer Ministries by monitoring on site activities to protect against safety threats * Conduct patrols, building checks, investigations, crowd management, loss prevention duties, and first responder alerts * Create and maintain security files and reports pertaining to contractor/business guest activity, deliveries, and all other visitor activity * Notify the control room and front desk when visitors arrive and direct visitor to appropriate location * Monitor and respond to alarms Qualifications: * 2 years job related experience * Certification with Firearm, Tazer®, Oleoresin Capsicum Pepper Spray and all security equipment * Possess a valid Driver’s license and be on call 24/7 * Computer skills in a Microsoft Window environment; including skills in Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel * Good interpersonal skills to handle and deal with sensitive and confidential situations * Ability to react quickly and responsibly under pressure * Availability to maintain a flexible work schedule and report to work during inclement weather Education: * High School diploma or GED * Obtain a Security Officer license and First Aid, CPR and AED Certification We’ve got you covered with perks: * Mission-driven job that also pays * Medical Plan with no out-of-pocket premiums * Generous HSA contributions * Free Dental * Free long-term disability and life insurance * Wholistic Wellness Program * Employee Assistance Program for you and your family * 403(b) generous matching * Discount on ministry resources * Options to work from home with a hybrid work environment * Paid time off * Professional Development * Tuition Reimbursement *Note: Please ensure you are utilizing the most current, updated version of your browser.
