What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents. Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related risks, or hazards to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to guide visitors as needed. Support emergency response procedures, including assisting with evacuations and/or medical emergencies as directed. Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or security-related occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. Vaccines required for hospital setting. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
