As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, visitors, and patients. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, staying visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. This position requires driving as part of your responsibilities, so a valid driver's license is necessary. What You'll Do: Provide excellent customer service to clients, staff, and visitors within the healthcare location by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and by responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism in all interactions. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any irregularities within the healthcare environment. Monitor entrances, exits, and general areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity. Document observations, incidents, and/or activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client site guidelines. Communicate and collaborate with staff and/or emergency personnel as needed to support a secure environment within the healthcare location. Remain alert and aware of surroundings to promptly report any security-related concerns or hazards within the facility. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
