What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed within a healthcare environment. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff, patients, and visitors. Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter inappropriate activity. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and help to maintain a secure environment for patients and staff. Document observations, incidents, and activities as required by site protocols and Allied Universal standards. Collaborate with healthcare personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters. Assist visitors and staff with security-related questions and provide directions or guidance when appropriate. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Being at least 21 years of age is required. Experience with X-ray screening is preferred. Experience in customer service is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
