What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors at healthcare locations by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Monitor and report any irregular conditions, hazards, or suspicious activity in and around the location as part of security-related responsibilities. Communicate any site-specific concerns or incidents promptly to Allied Universal supervision and/or client representatives as required. Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification, and screening individuals as necessary in accordance with healthcare location policies. Support Allied Universal and the healthcare location’s security-related objectives by remaining alert and providing a visible security-related presence. Minimum Requirements: Vaccines are required for work in a hospital setting. Work may involve duties in the hospital morgue. Must be at least 21 years of age. May be required to restrain individuals in a hospital setting. X-ray screening experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
