As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or hazards. Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior. Assist with access control, visitor management, and identification verification as required by site policies. Observe and report any security-related irregularities, hazards, or incidents to Allied Universal management and/or site representatives. Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns as directed. Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site procedures. Minimum Requirements: At least 2 years of security-related experience is required. At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required. A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. Vaccinations required for hospital assignments. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
