As an unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including during emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents. Observe and report any irregularities, unusual situations, or security-related issues encountered during patrols. Work collaboratively with facility management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs and maintain a visible presence within the location. Follow instructions and post orders specific to the healthcare site to help to deter prohibited activity and maintain a welcoming environment. Minimum Requirements: Vaccination is required for hospital assignments. Working in hospital morgue areas is required. Ability to restrain individuals in hospital settings is required. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
