What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and promptly notifying clinical leadership and/or emergency responders as directed by post orders. Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital corridors, entrances, waiting areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations. Support access control by monitoring entry points, checking identification and/or visitor authorization as required, and directing individuals to the appropriate departments while maintaining a professional presence. Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives per post instructions. Minimum Requirements: Be able to work in a hospital environment where vaccines are required. Be able to work in a hospital morgue. Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. Be able to restrain individuals as required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
