Your day to day as a Security Officer As a Security Officer, your day-to-day responsibilities will focus on ensuring the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property. You will conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises, monitoring for any unusual activities or safety hazards. General Requirements for All Security Guard Applicants Applicants must: Be at least 18 years of age. Pass the jurisprudence examination with a score of 90% or higher. Provide proof of completing a department-approved, in-person training program. Submit all documentation required by the State of New Mexico. No online training is accepted.
