JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our Skypark team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, staff, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, with responsibilities that include monitoring activities, preventing loss, and responding to incidents as they arise.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred but not essential.
  • Certification in first aid is desirable; training may be provided for the right candidate.
  • Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation, is beneficial.
  • Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A valid security licence may be required depending on local regulations CCTV licence is preferred but not essential.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
    Expected hours: No less than 42 per week

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
  • Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure the safety of all individuals on site.
  • Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage to property.
  • Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid when necessary until emergency services arrive.
  • Maintain detailed logs of daily activities and any incidents that occur during shifts.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as required.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and staff with inquiries while maintaining a professional demeanour.
