ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: May include but are not limited to: * Ensures that adequate protection is provided for the safety of patrons, assets, employees and the company. * Prepare detailed incident report(s) in a clear and precise manner. * Patrols the casino and surrounding areas to establish a security presence. * Reports all unusual situations and/or suspicious persons. * Assists in the coordination of emergency situations and in maintaining proper key control. QUALIFICATIONS: * High School Diploma or GED is required or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience. * Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time, able to climb steps, and respond to emergency situations. * Handle basic duties and responsibilities of the position. WORK ENVIRONMENT: * May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to: second hand smoke, excessive noise, and constant exposure to general public. * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand: walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. * The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. * The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded.
