An overview of what the jobs may entail includes:

• Conducting regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect signs of intrusion or unusual activity.
• Monitoring surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure the safety of the facility.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage to property.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid when necessary.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement when required during investigations or emergencies.
• Maintain clear communication with team members and management regarding security concerns.

SKILLS

• Proficient in surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
• Experience with CCTV systems and monitoring equipment is highly desirable.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Knowledge of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for reporting incidents effectively.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution. This role is essential for ensuring a secure environment, making it vital for candidates to be vigilant, reliable, and committed to upholding safety standards at all times.
