Description

* Maintain access control to building. * Conduct routine checks of building, perimeter, doors, parking lot and protect company assets and employees. * Record all inbound and outbound carriers. * Conduct a check of all trainers as required. * Ensure unauthorized individuals do not enter company premises. * Ensure all reports and logs are completed. * Monitor personnel access in and out of building. * Monitor parking lot. Ensure proper use of handicap and USDA parking. * Report all security related incidents to management. * Monitor camera footage. * Ensure all vendors, visitors, contractors and deliveries are signed in. * Write incident reports in parking lot areas. * All other relevant duties as assigned. Hiring all shift! Work schedules is 3.5 days on / 3.5 days off with the following rotations: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday = 36 hours Team A - 2 employees = 6am-6pm Team B – 2 employees = 6pm-6am Wednesday – Swing Shift = 6 hours Team A 6am-12pm = 6 hours Team C 12pm-6pm = 6 hours Team B 6pm-12am = 6 hours Team D 12am – 6am = 6 hours Thursday, Friday, Saturday = 36 Hours Team C – 2 employees = 6am-6pm Team D – 2 employees = 6pm-6am Employees will receive 40 hours of regular pay and 2 hours OT. * Team A and C – $17.00/hour * Team B and D – $18.00/hour Qualifications * High School Diploma required, with technical training preferred. * No criminal record, with ability to pass state and federal background check and drug screening required. * Basic reading, writing, and math skills. * Military, security and/or law enforcement experience preferred. * Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining building access control, monitoring camera footage, and conducting routine perimeter checks to protect assets and employees. They must also manage visitor logs and report all security-related incidents to management.
