Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.37 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon04:15 PM - 09:15 PMTue04:15 PM - 09:15 PMFri02:15 PM - 06:15 PMSat11:45 AM - 06:15 PMSun12:45 PM - 05:15 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related duties appropriate for a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas while verifying credentials, documenting activity, and following post orders and incident reporting procedures. Support emergency response activities by assisting with evacuations, directing foot traffic and/or vehicle traffic, and relaying important information to the appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
