We work closely with hospital departments and local law enforcement to ensure a professional, respectful, and vigilant presence throughout the facility.    How you’ll contribute   A Security Officer who excels in this role:  * Observe, patrol, and monitor hospital properties to maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, staff, and physicians. * Respond to and document security incidents, safety concerns, and unusual activities, taking appropriate action in accordance with hospital policies. * Conduct routine security rounds and facility inspections, identifying and reporting potential hazards, irregularities, or fire safety concerns. * Preserve order and enforce hospital regulations and directives while providing professional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. * Safeguard and manage the collection, storage, and return of patient valuables and personal property, ensuring a high level of accountability and accuracy. * Provide support for patient safety through observation of individuals at risk for self-harm or other safety concerns, as assigned by clinical leadership. * Provide operational support to communication and dispatch functions, including monitoring security systems, assisting at security desks, and supporting emergency coordination and response as needed.   Why join us   We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
