As a Screener with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed. Perform screening of individuals and/or packages entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location, following established protocols. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, as assigned by site protocols. Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel to provide guidance and enforce location policies. Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activity, or policy violations observed during assigned shifts. Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and on-site staff to maintain a secure environment at the logistics and distribution location. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
