Responsibilities
  • Static posts on entry/exits points, providing the highest level of security to the building and all occupants,
  • Obtaining witness statements, writing up incident reports,
  • First Aid emergency techniques and fire safety (training provided),
  • Responding directly to all activations of access and panic alarms,
  • Ensuring that any employed CCTV/work-related security and surveillance systems are professionally operated at all times when assigned and to relay all pertinent information to the Supervisor or Security Manager.

As a Security Officer, you will be working on a 4 on, 4 off rotating shift basis of 12-hour shifts. Shift patterns will vary from day and night shifts (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.

  • To be a successful Security Officer candidate, you must have:
  • Previous relevant experience in a position within Safety & Security Services,
  • Excellent communication skills in all aspects,
  • Must possess excellent organisational and administrative skills, good working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook,
  • Confident, approachable, professional, and able to use diplomacy to handle different situations,
  • To be passionate about delivering the very best service for your Residents.
