POSITION OVERVIEW

As a security officer, you will be responsible for the safety and security of the assets of our customers.

A security officer duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Monitoring and analyzing CCTV camera footage.
  • Guarding valuables in an assigned area.
  • Responding to alarms and emergencies.
  • Communicating any irregularities with on-site management.
  • Keeping an incident report record.
  • Following procedures for emergency situations
  • Checking visitors in and out of an area.
  • Escorting visitors around a premises.
  • Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
  • Monitor and authorize entrance of persons into a property.
  • Secure all exits, doors, and windows after end of operations.
  • Monitor surveillance cameras for disruptions or unlawful acts.
  • Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation.

To apply for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Must have valid security guard licenses and/or certifications based on state and local requirements in the area where the position is located.
  • Must have knowledge of legal guidelines for security and public safety in the area where the position is located.
