Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon12:00 PM - 06:00 PMTue12:00 PM - 06:00 PMWed12:00 PM - 06:00 PMThur12:00 PM - 06:00 PMFri12:00 PM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, production support areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and verify entry authorizations for employees, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site protocols, while maintaining clear communication and professional interactions. Support site operations by preparing activity logs, incident reports, and shift pass-down notes, and by following post orders and Allied Universal standards throughout the assigned location. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
