About the role MSS Security is seeking casual Security Officers to work across multiple areas of a hospital in Gold Coast. This role requires patrols, control room and work in high-risk wards. This role does not require prior security experience, but strong customer-facing experience is essential. Key Responsibilities: Patrol and monitor hospital premises to detect and respond to any security risks. Ensuring all designated hospital doors are locked (or unlocked) and secured as required during shifts Monitor security systems and respond to incidents and emergencies promptly. Manage access control and identification verification for all hospital areas. Collaborate with medical staff and law enforcement when necessary. Assist in resolving patient or visitor disputes in a calm and professional manner. Provide excellent customer service to staff, patients, and visitors.
