As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support guests and tenants with clear, professional communication. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and/or guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail and mall location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including handling disturbances, medical calls, and/or property concerns, and escalating to site leadership and/or public services as needed. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregular conditions. Monitor and document security-related activity, including completing written reports, incident logs, and/or access control records in accordance with site requirements. Support loss prevention and customer assistance efforts by observing for suspicious behavior, providing directions and general assistance, and coordinating with on-site personnel regarding security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
