What You'll Do: Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out post orders, security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or service requests in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, operational areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized access, property damage, and/or other suspicious activity. Control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying identification and authorizations, maintaining visitor and vehicle logs, and directing traffic as required by site procedures. Complete clear and accurate reports of patrol observations, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns, and report hazards, abnormal conditions, and/or policy violations to the appropriate site representative. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
