Description
United Security Services Inc. is seeking experienced Security Officers to join our team at a high-end hotel in Midtown, Manhattan. This is a full-time position for our morning shift, and the ideal candidate must be able to work on weekends. Job Responsibilities: * Provide a welcoming environment and deliver exceptional services to guests. * Patrol guest areas for suspicious activity and unauthorized individuals. * Communicate effectively with guests while maintaining top-notch hospitality and interpersonal skills. * Perform a variety of security checks and follow post orders as directed by the hotel. * Investigate incidents and generate reports by recording observations, occurrences, and surveillance activities. * Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. * Other related responsibilities as needed. Must-Have Requirements: * Must be NYS Security Guard Licensed. * Must be able to stand, patrol, climb stairs, and work outdoors in all weather conditions. * Must pass a drug screening. * Must have flexible availability. * Must have basic computer skills (Office 365, internet, typing). * Prior hotel experience preferred but not required. * Must have at least 2-3 years of verifiable security experience. * Must be willing to submit to a background check. * A well-groomed and professional appearance, in alignment with the luxury hotel’s high standards. * No visible facial piercings or unconventional hair colors that may not align with the hotel's image. * Punctuality and reliability with the ability to arrive on time and prepared for every shift. * Flexibility to work extended hours or additional shifts as needed. * A proactive attitude, with the ability to stay active and alert throughout the shift. * Strong communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with guests and staff. * CPR and First Aid Certification a plus.
