The Security Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment within the company premises. Responsible for implementing and enforcing security protocols, the candidate will contribute to safeguarding personnel, property, and information.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct routine patrols to ensure the security of designated areas.
2. Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to detect and respond to security threats.
3. Control access points, checking credentials and authorizing entry for employees and visitors.
4. Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
5. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
6. Conduct thorough investigations into security breaches and incidents.
7. Enforce company policies related to security and safety.
8. Provide assistance and support during evacuations or emergency situations.
9. Maintain detailed and accurate records of security-related activities.
10. Stay informed about the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in security management is a plus.
2. Proven experience in a security-related role, preferably in a corporate setting.
3. Knowledge of security protcols, emergency response procedures, and surveillance systems.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
6. Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and lift when required.
7. Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations pertaining to security.
