Job Description As a Security Officer - Overnight Residential Patrol in Cambridge City, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to tenant and guest needs with professionalism. You will document observations, communicate clearly with residents, property staff, and local responders, and support a caring, people-first culture through teamwork, integrity, and innovative problem solving. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by location. Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access attempts, helping to reduce the risk of incidents; document observations in daily activity reports and incident reports. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access issues, disturbances, and/or resident concerns while following post orders. Control access where assigned by monitoring entry points, verifying resident and guest authorization, and/or managing visitor logs in accordance with site-specific policies. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
