As an Access Control Officer at a busy retail location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, support visitor and employee badge access, and document activity using site systems. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail and/or mall environment. Control access for associates, vendors, and visitors by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining entry logs, and directing foot traffic to authorized areas. Monitor entry points, alarms, and cameras as assigned; report irregular activity and document observations according to site-specific procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and coordinating with onsite staff and/or emergency services as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, storefront areas, and perimeter; communicate hazards and maintenance concerns to site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Alarm Panel Experience is preferred. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred. Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred. Customer Service Experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
