As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor visitor and employee flow while maintaining a welcoming presence. You will complete routine patrols, document security-related activity using a computer and/or tablet, and communicate clearly with teams on site. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Control access at entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor registration, issuing temporary badges as directed, and maintaining accurate access logs. Monitor inbound and outbound traffic by coordinating with warehouse staff, checking delivery documentation as directed, and directing vehicles to designated check-in and staging areas. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations per post orders. Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, loading dock areas, yard space, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location. Minimum Requirements: Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred. Customer Service Experience is preferred. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
