What You'll Do: Provide customer service at a government facility front desk by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Control access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests to the appropriate department or contact. Monitor alarms, cameras, and communication systems from the front desk and report suspicious activity and/or policy violations per site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken. Complete security-related reports, visitor logs, and incident documentation accurately and in a timely manner, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions. Minimum Requirements: Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience. Be 21 years of age or older. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
