What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff at a technology-focused location by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies. Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout office areas, labs, common spaces, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations. Control access by monitoring entry points, checking credentials as required, and directing guests and deliveries according to site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and/or emergency response activities per site guidelines. Document security-related activities, patrol observations, incidents, and service requests in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate relevant information to site leadership. Minimum Requirements: Have 1+ years of security-related experience. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Being able to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
