As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol an assigned logistics location, completing routine rounds, checking doors, gates, and key areas, and staying highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse and transportation areas, interior spaces, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations. Monitor access points and verify credentials for drivers, contractors, and visitors; maintain visitor and vehicle logs per site requirements. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including dispatching appropriate notifications and documenting actions taken. Complete routine reporting and documentation, including patrol activity, incident reports, and shift handoff information, using written logs and/or electronic systems as required. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
