As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a welcoming presence. What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the logistics and distribution location. Screen individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering or exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited items. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Communicate with site personnel and visitors to provide directions and answer questions related to access and security-related matters. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence. Document observations, incidents, and/or irregularities, and report them to the appropriate personnel as required. Assist in emergency response activities as needed, following all company and client procedures. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
