Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.13 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, helping to control access, verify credentials when required, and communicate professionally with staff and/or visitors regarding site rules. Support daily operations by completing incident reports, maintaining awareness of surroundings, and assisting with directional information, de-escalation, and other customer-focused duties as appropriate to the location. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
