As a driving patrol officer in a commercial real estate office location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time / Late Swing-shift Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed04:00 PM - 12:30 AMThur04:00 PM - 12:30 AMFri04:00 PM - 12:30 AMSat04:00 PM - 12:30 AMSun04:00 PM - 12:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial office location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, observe on-site activity, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior in accordance with post instructions and Allied Universal standards. Support daily operations at the location by assisting with visitor questions, directing foot traffic, and completing routine reports related to security-related activities and observations. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
