Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSat06:00 PM - 12:00 AMSun06:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location. Respond to incidents, service calls, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout designated areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions. Monitor access points, observe site activity, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior according to post instructions and Allied Universal protocols. Support daily operations by following post orders, assisting with directional inquiries, and completing required reports related to security-related incidents and/or patrol activity. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
