As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service requests with clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license and compliance with AU Driver Policy requirements. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, yards, equipment areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that require attention. Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or other site systems when assigned, documenting observations and reporting irregular activity according to post orders. Complete required reports such as daily activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, communicating relevant updates to supervisors and/or client representatives. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1+ years of security experience. Be at least 21+ years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
