As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout government-related locations. This is a driving post, so you will operate a vehicle while completing your patrol duties. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat06:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or access. Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or conditions to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives. Assist visitors, employees, and contractors by providing information and directions as needed while maintaining site protocols. Support access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry into designated areas. Complete detailed and accurate reports related to incidents, activities, and/or daily operations at the location. Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when required, following site-specific protocols. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
