As an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer at a government transit location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support riders and staff with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations and respond to concerns with professionalism and integrity. What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of facilities, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or operational concerns. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, coordinating with site personnel, and contacting local responders when needed. Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directions and general inquiries, and help to manage visitor and employee traffic in accordance with posted rules and site requirements. Complete detailed daily activity logs and incident reports, document observations and actions taken, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Be 21+ years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
